Cambodia

Starting from 15th November 2021, the Royal Government of Cambodia has permitted international travelers to enter Cambodia without quarantine but must comply with the below guidelines.

 

  • A fully COVID-19 vaccination card.
  • Certificate of negative COVID-19 (PCR Test) for 72 hours prior departure to Cambodia from its respective country.
  • Take the COVID-19 test upon arrival and need to wait between 15-20 minutes for the result. If the result shows negative, you are free to travel throughout Cambodia without quarantine.

Thailand

Sandbox Programme has opened to international travellers starting from 1 March 2022. Sandbox areas include Krabi, Phuket, Pattaya, Ko Samui, Ko Tao, Ko Chang.

 

  • Travellers from any country / territory. Stay in the Sandbox area for 7 days and will be able to travel in Thailand thereafter.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no less than 14 days before travelling.
  • Booking for 7 days on approved SHA Extra+ or AQ hotel. The booking must include the fee for 1 RT-PCR test, 1 ATK self-test kit and airport transfer.
  • Obtain a negative COVID-19 test result (RT-PCR), issued within 72 hours before travelling.
  • Certificate of Vaccination is requested.
  • Insurance with minimum coverage of 20,000 USD.

Fiji

As announced by the Hon. Prime Minister, from 1 December 2021, Fiji is open to fully vaccinated travellers. If you come from a Fiji Travel Partner country do not require any prior approval.

 

  • Negative PCR: Travellers 12 years and above will be required to produce a negative PCR test taken no more than 2 calendar days prior to the scheduled day of departure.
  • Proof of Vaccination: All travellers must produce proof of full vaccination. Only travellers who are under the age of 18 years will be exempt, provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who is vaccinated.
  • Fiji COVID-19 recognised vaccines: AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Coronavac (Sinovac), Covishield, BBIBP-CorV (Sinopharm), Covaxin and Sputnik V.
  • Pre-paid itinerary: Travellers must produce proof of minimum 3 nights pre-paid accommodation at a Care Fiji Commitment (CFC) certified property (hotel/resort) which must also include CFC certified transport from the airport.
  • Travellers must have stayed in a Travel Partner country for at least 14 consecutive days prior to coming to Fiji.
  • All foreign passport holders must have medical travel insurance, with international coverage that covers COVID-19 before travelling. Alternatively, travellers may opt for FijiCare COVID-19 travel insurance offered to travellers from Travel Partner countries.

Maldives

A tourist visa is granted for all nationalities on arrival to Maldives. As such, a foreigner travelling to Maldives as a tourist does not require pre-approval for the visa. However, the person must satisfy the basic entry requirements to get immigration clearance upon arrival.

 

  • A passport or a travel document with Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) with at least 1 months validity.
  • A pre-paid hotel booking/accommodation.
  • Sufficient funds to last for the intended period of stay in Maldives.
  • Confirmed onward/return tickets to home country or to country of residence (not applicable for valid resident permit holders).
  • Traveller Health Declaration (THD) must be filled in and submitted by all travelers travelling to and from Maldives, within 48 hours prior to their travel. The form has to be submitted electronically via IMUGA.
  • COVID-19 negative PCR test result, attached while completing Traveler Health Declaration form. The sample for PCR test has to be taken 96 hours prior to departure to Maldives, counting from the first port of embarkation en-route to the Maldives.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is fully open to vaccinated travellers with minimal restrictions and paperwork. As of 1st March 2022 fully vaccinated travellers do not need to take any tests – children under 12 (travelling with vaccinated parents) are exempt from testing too.

 

  • All test reports and required documents when entering, including proof of vaccination shall be in English. Self-swabs of RAT are not acceptable.
  • Fully Vaccinated tourists can stay at any type of accommodation and no need to be subjected to an on-arrival PCR test.
  • For unvaccinated children below 12 years are allowed to travel with their fully vaccinated parents. Parents need to undergo day-1 PCR testing from the approved laboratory. If the day-1 PCR is negative they will be allowed to go with their parents as no further quarantine needed.
  • Travelers of 12 years and above arriving in Sri Lanka should mandatorily carry a negative Covid -19 test report in English language done within 72 hours prior to the embarkation.
  • TOURIST VISA requires a mandatory Sri Lanka COVID-19 Insurance coverage to be purchased online https://portal.pionline.lk/covidinsurance/ or on arrival.

Nepal

If you have completed full dose of vaccination at least 14 days prior to entering Nepal, you will be eligible for visa on-arrival, provided you are holding passport of those countries that are eligible for visa-on-arrival . The followings provisions will be applicable to avail the visa-on-arrival.

 

  • COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing full dose of vaccination with the last dose taken at least 14 days before arriving in Nepa.
  • COVID-19 test report (RT-PCR, Gene Expert, True NAAT or WHO accredited test) showing negative result done within last 72 hours of boarding from the first airport or, if you are entering through land border, done within 72 hours of entry. This report will not be required for children below 5 years.
  • Copy of the permit, if applicable, for mountaineering, trekking and other activity that will require permission.
  • Confirmation of hotel booked in Nepal.
  • A printed copy of the online form (International Traveler Online Arrival Form) to be filled by logging in to ccmc.gov.np.

You will be required to undergo quarantine upon returning to China. The length of the quarantine depends on the local policies.
