Make your best weekend in Beijing with one of our itineraries

You may have lived in Beijing for some time now, but maybe you still don’t know that there are plenty of great places to visit in Beijing in just one day. Beijing is a surprisingly bikeable city, reaching many spots by bike isn’t so hard, but of course using public transportation system makes it even easier.

Soak in the art and museum world

Itinerary: China National Film Museum——China Railway Museum——Caochangdi Art Villa Area

Your first stop is China National Film Museum, which is currently the largest film museum in China. It has four floors filled with 4300 stills and 1500 films whilst the giant ring-screen hall is the best place to take photos. After that, learn about the contributions made by the railroads and rail equipment to the rapid growth and importance of China on the world stage. You can also experience some things first hand in the simulators. If you find 798 art district too commercial and lacking in real art, then we recommend you to visit Caochangdi Art Villa Area. Here you can find lots of small galleries and a couple of pretty good coffee shops.
