Explore Gouqi Island

Climb the Dongya Cliff

The Dongya Cliff is located at the eastern end of the Songshan Island, and the cliffs stretch into the sea. Around 4-5 am in the morning, the sunrise offers the most stunning view with its golden sunshine reflecting on the sea.
You can walk up to the heights of the cliff to look over the sea and the mussel culture area. Along the way, you can see various types of houses featured on the island, scattered fishing boats at sea, and maybe you can hear some stories about the local residents fishing on reefs or harvesting Baker.

 

 

Dive into Longtouwan Village

Houtouwan Village is an old fishing village located on an island in Shengsi County. Due to the relocation of the villagers from the island to the mainland, there are many uninhabited houses that have gradually been covered with vines and eroded away by nature. Here, the sky and the sea appear to be connected to one another, taking you into the green fairy tale world.
