Day 1: Ever-white
The Changbai mountain is one of the most sacred mountains for Chinese and Koreans. Located at the border of China and North Korea, it offers a lake, hot springs and waterfalls, all in a single reserve. The Tianchi Lake is quite interesting, as halfway across the lake, you can see North Korean territory. Though you are not permitted to walk around the lake, the heavily protected area is quite intriguing to see from a distance. The site also offers picturesque spots as you explore nature's wonders. Changbai waterfall and Luyuan Pond offer the perfect scenery for you to admire.
