Day 1: Welcome to Urumqi
When you arrive in Urumqi our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2: Visit Heavenly Lake
In the morning we will head to the Heavenly Lake. You can either walk around the lake or enjoy a boat ride or even take the cable car to explore Maya Mountain. Back to Urumqi and head to Xinjiang Regional Museum. In this place, you can see many archaeological treasures about the Silk Road. At night, visit the Grand International Bazaar to enjoy some Xinjiang cuisine.

Day 3: Turpan City Tour
Start your day with the 3-hour drive to Turpan. First stop we will take you to visit the oldest Uighur village - Tuyoq Village. Enjoy the lunch in the traditional Uighur family. Then we will take you to explore the Bezeklik Grottoes. There are 57 existing caves and murals for you to explore. Enjoy the sunset in Jiaohe Ruins will be your last stop of the day.

Day 4: Admire Karez Well
Morning we will take you to explore the Karez Well irrigation system which produces the best melons and grapes in China. Then visit the Sugong Minaret, a conduit for cultural exchange between different ethnic and religious groups. In the afternoon, take you to the train station to take the train to Kuqa. Upon arrival, we will take your to the hotel for a nice rest.

Day 5: Kuqa City Tour
Your day will be started by visiting the Kizilgaha Beacon Tower. It is an important tower in the past that protect traveling caravans from the enemy. Continue your tour to Subash Ruins. Then return back to downtown and stroll around the Kuqa Old City to explore the local lifestyle.

Day 6: Discover Tianshan Grand Canyon
After breakfast in the hotel, we will head to our first step - Kizil Grottoes. And then visit the Tianshan Grand Canyon, which is an excellent geological park. It recorded the whole process of crustal movement in Xinjiang during the past 400 million years. After the visit, take the train to Kashgar. Upon arrival, drive you to the hotel.

Day 7: Kashgar City Tour
Pay a visit to Id Kah Mosque. It is the largest Mosque in China and the most sacred mosque for the local people. Continue your visit to Old Town with the open ceremony of the Maxilap show. Relax in a hundred-year Tea house; taste the rose tea and nang-bread. Visit Handicraft Street, here you can find hundreds of handicraft workshops. Next stop is the famous Sunday Bazaar. This market is divided into two sections: outdoor animal bazaar and covered bazaar.

Day 8: Visit Karakul Lake
On this day we will head to a town in the far west of Xinjiang Province - Taxkorgan. It used to be the main road of the Silk Road leading from China to far West. Stay one night and explore the folk customs of Tajik nationality. Taste snacks and milk tea provided by local herdsmen.

Day 9: Discover Stone Fortress
Driving back to Kashgar. On the way, you will visit the Stone Fortress. The place is shaped oval with city walls bricks by stone. Walk around the pastureland to enjoy Tajiks customs.

Day 10: Hotan City Tour
After breakfast, we will take the morning flight to Hotan. Upon arrival visit the Hotan Museum. To explore the Khotan Historical Relics Exhibition. Next, visit Atlas Silk Workshop. The place where you can see how the silk is made into scarves, bags, dresses and other items. After visiting Hotan, we will transfer you to the airport to take the flight back to Urumqi.

Day 11: Goodbye Urumqi
Take you back to Urumqi and catch an afternoon flight or train.
