Travel Tips to Osaka
Q1: How many days should I spend in Osaka?
A1: A visit to Osaka can easily be planned to last a week, with the option of including nearby cities such as Kyoto, Nara, Himeji and Kobe. However, a stay of four to five days in Osaka, allows time to explore at your own pace. For those wishing to combine a visit to Tokyo, we would suggest allowing more than eight days to enjoy a smooth and relaxed trip.
Q2: Different between Osaka and Tokyo?
A2: Both Osaka and Tokyo are highly recommended travel destinations in Japan. Tokyo offers a glimpse into Japan’s modern, futuristic and hi-tech side, while Osaka provides a more authentic experience of Japan’s ancient traditions.
Q3: When is the best time to visit Osaka?
A3: The summers are hot and humid, but not so hot that you cannot fully enjoy the day. In contrast, the winter season is characterized by cooler temperatures, though not excessively cold. The optimal times to visit are spring and autumn when temperatures are mild and skies are generally clear.
Q4: How do I get to Osaka?
A4: Osaka is well connected by two major airports: Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Osaka International Airport (also known as Itami; ITM). Kansai International is Osaka’s main international airport. Itami is primarily a domestic airport, which makes it an ideal option for those traveling within Japan.
